Snoqualmie Falls before and after January storm

Washington State is known for it's rain and beauty. But when you combined the two, it's an even more incredible sight. January 2009, Washington State had a record rainfall for the month. As a result Snoqualmie Falls hit flood stage. Normally this breath taking waterfall is enough to capture the eye and satisfy the desires for true beauty.

This video was captured when the falls were roaring. Though I was a little nervous to be passing a danger sign and feel the bridge shaking beneath me, I felt determined to capture this footage of the falls at flood stage.

I was in awe of the amount of water gushing over the falls, but a little nervous at the same time. Here is the video that I created from before and after flood stage at Snoqualmie Falls.

I must say it's an amazing experience to visit these falls. Anybody who was a fan of Twin Peaks may recognize this scene. They used footage from Snoqualmie falls at the beginning of every episode. Enjoy!
